Ludamage is a video creator out of Russia who has set a number of Monster Rally songs to found footage culled from youtube and elsewhere.  We’ve loved seeing what he comes up with to accompany the music, so we asked him to create the official video for “Blame”, the latest track off the upcoming Beyond the Sea 12” to see the light of day (thanks to the fine folks of I Guess I’m Floating).

Pre-order the limited edition vinyl edition of Beyond the Sea here.

Announcing the newest 7” release on Gold Robot, the debut vinyl for Oakland’s Yalls (aka Dan Casey).  Ever since I heard his music last year, it’s been a continuous soundtrack around GRR HQ.  This 3-song EP drops on February 21st on bone colored vinyl and is limited to 500 copies.  You can pre-order it now.
The A-side premiered this morning on Ears of the Beholder, and you can stream it below.

One of the most rewarding things (of which there are many) about running a small label is when someone in a distant land takes notice, and loves, a release.  Hartzine, and excellent publication out of France, recently posted a review of our Primary Structures 12” which was both insightful and (thankfully) glowing.  You can read the French version in full here, but here’s an excerpt:
“This strange encounter between post-punk and pop lyricism - with the singer’s voice as the main vector - is enough to raise our membership and make their first album a new playmate for some time.”
There are only 250 copies of this 12” and they’re only $12, so pick one up today.  I promise you’ll like it.

Monster Rally has a new collaboration with RUMTUM, a fellow Ohio-based artist.  The first track dropped on YVYNYL yesterday and it’s pretty fantastic.

Also, for you vinyl lovers out there, we’re getting down to our last copies of the Deep Sea 7” and the Crystal Ball 12”.  So get your hands on one before they’re gone forever.
